If asked to make a list of the best sports movies ever, you'd be hard-pressed to come up with a list that isn't comprised of at least 80% baseball movies. Sure there will be a 'Hoosiers' or 'Rudy' sprinkled in the list. But for the most part, baseball movies make the best sports movies. It's just science.
It only makes sense if there are so many great baseball movies, that there would also be an impressive list of baseball movie players.
