I have possibly found a new site that will track out entire league for us. No forum style anymore exciting news I know!
The bad part though is that it is a premium league meaning we will be forced to charge a league fee. It will be between 8 and 10 dollars max though. I'm not willing to lose any of our long term members over it however as this was always intended to be completely free. That being said I think it will be a very very positive move for the league as a whole. I need to hear opinions from everyone before we make the move.
Btw league dues would be paid directly to the site for simplicity

Sorry, I would not be willing to pay.
What's wrong with Proboards?

The website is fantrax.com
Basically this website is yahoo that also tracks our minor league players, requires no manually typing in information, no searching between sites to see if someone is on a minor league teambefore adding them. Those kinds of things

In that case, I'm with the Bobman. I was hesitant at the fee to begin with, saying fantrax just puts it over the top. I'm in a league that uses fantrax, and while not horrible, I just don't like it.
So long fellows and good luck to you all.
P.S. At least I got to the final 4 before departing. ;-) I did want to win it though.

Ya no you're not quitting. I said I won't lose anyone over it. Just thought everyone would love to add some simplicity and better clarification with minor league players and free agents.
Nvm then we will continue using this mess

I'm sure there is some kind a site that does a better job of compiling all the necessary items in one place instead of requiring all the members to be proficient in html to keep track of transactions.

I'll pay Bobs share in exchange for Trout

You'd have to pay my mortgage to get Trout. I've also used Fantrax before. Not a fan. If you really wanna make things less complicated, why don't we just eliminate the salary cap aspect of it? I'd prefer to keep the rosters deep (my favourite aspect of this league), but cutting out bidding could make things easier... We could make it a straight dynasty: Add 10 extra bench spots on our Yahoo teams, and we all retain a 10-man minor league roster. This way people can just add/drop - instead of going through ProBoards. That would make things way easier, but essentially keep the rosters the same... Bobman

Maybe deepen the DL slots, so that we don't have to lose any of our core players, because they get injured (the age of TJ is upon us).
