No need to put up reaches unless somebody picks Barry Bonds or something in the next couple of picks, Bautista is a lock otherwise

I think his stats would be better if he hit the ball out, when the guys in front of him are on base. Not often, granted, but they do occasionally get on.

If this league is going to continue to criticize, replace me. I have better things to do than endure insults from lesser managers.
While Bautista may be considered a 'reach' to you, he led the MLB in HRs last year - and is also doing so this year. He also has eligibility at a talent scarce position, and there are less clear cut studs at the end of the first round.
If you're going to insult me, remove me from this league.

I don't know anyone here, and I won't stand for this. We're not friends, and it's not a great first impression. Cargo is not really a 'safer' pick than Bautista. Neither is Lincecum.
There are pros/cons for lots of players. Even Kemp could be considered a reach. A hot start is no guarantee. I was choosing between Kemp and Bautista.
Anyway, "shit talking" other managers is not cool. Especially when none of us know each other.

Cargo is not a sketchy pick. The problem is that many of this year's 1st rounders are struggling out of the gate.
It's not easy to have a late 1st round pick when so many stars are struggling. I happen to think Bautista is for real - and he's got as much of a track record as Cargo.
Anyway, it is way too early to start talking shit. I will accept that you were just trying to have fun, but it's too early to start ripping other people's picks apart - when none of us know each other...

idk man sports and trash talk kinda go hand in hand... if you dont like it, they will back off but the rest of us are going to have good friendly fun, just because we dont agree doesnt mean its an insult. Whats going to keep this league going is discussions and debates and interaction. No one is taking personal shots at you Bobman. We want you to stay. But there are going to be reach polls and steal polls throughout this draft. No one is insulting you, its just personal opinions and managerial involvement. Good freindly fun
