9. Minor Leagues
a. Posting Rules
In order to call up or send down a player you MUST post the intent of the move on the Minor League News thread. The correct form of doing this will be by titling the name of the thread that of the Player. The next time a move is made with that same player you must reply to that same thread. This will help us keep track of the amount of times a player is called up/down.
b. AAA
Each team will have a 10 man AAA roster. These 10 players can be called up to the Major League roster at the manager's discretion. These players, however, can NOT be sent down to the team's AA roster.
c. AA
New to the 2012 season we will be implementing another minor league roster. This AA team will only be able to be touched during the off-season. If a player does not make the cut of the manager's AAA or Major League roster and the manager designates them to AA then they are ineligible to play for the entire season. This is for the players who are far from being in the big leagues. If you wish to use one of these players you must drop them and lose your ownership of the player. They will then become Free Agents that are eligible to be bid on by all teams.
d. Player Eligibility
Any player may be a part of the minor league system. However, once a player has become a part of a Major League team 3 times they are a permanent major league player. If you want to designate a player that has been called up 3 or more times to your minor league system then they must clear a 1 week waiver where they become eligible for all teams to bid on. The manager releasing the player may also bid on the player.
